Love drawing? Let us introduce you to fashion designing and illustration. We will show you how to develop your own ideas by creating a mood board, planning your colour palettes and selecting your fabrics. This is what us fashion designers do before we make up our creations. And don’t worry if you think you can’t draw, we can use templates to start you off. All you will need to bring is a bit of imagination. The rest we can help with!

 • You will learn how to create fashion mood boards or storyboards.

• You will learn to sketch and draw like a fashion designer. To inspire you we will show you lots of fashion sketches by Kim Elliott and other fashion designers. Don’t be worried, it is such good fun!

• You can draw and sketch in your free My Fashion Club sketchbook provided by us. We are here to help you to become your own fashion designer!

* You will design and customise something you love and decorate it by hand or sewing machine. Sewing ability is good but not essential.

All sketchbooks, drawing paper, pens, pencils, sewing machines, fabrics and trims are provided.

• We use recycled fabric donations collected from the design departments of fashion brands around London including Roland Mouret, Topshop, River Island, Coast, Blackhorse Lane Ateliers, and Archive Vintage of Woodbridge.

First thing Elsie said when she came out was ‘that was fun!’. She then came straight home and got her sewing machine out. Thank you so much!
