At My Fashion Club we teach sustainable fashion, we create from beautiful preloved fabrics and clothes to create new totally unique, original and one of a kind fashion. You will feel proud wearing your own creations!

 • You will work with Kim Elliott who is a real fashion designer to create your designs.

 • You will sew and make your own patchwork of fabrics and depending on sewing skills you can make one your own creations. You will refashion your wardrobe, customise and remake from preloved clothes and farbrics to create your own unique style. We make clothes that we want to wear.

• We will teach you all the technical terms for garments as you learn. We are here to help you to become your own fashion designer. We will teach you about the design process and what goes into every piece of clothing that is produced. From sketch, fabric, factory, brand to your wardrobe.

• We will teach you about the fashion industry, the effects on the planet and how to make fashion that does not need to hurt people or damage our planet. We discuss fashion industry facts. This is why we make our own clothes and refashion what is already on the planet.

All sewing machines, fabrics and trims are provided. We use recycled fabric donations and old clothes collected from the design departments of fashion brands around London including Roland Mouret, Topshop, River Island, Coast, Blackhorse Lane Ateliers, and The Sustainable Sequin Company.

This club is fantastic! Kim Elliott is a great teacher and my daughter, having never used a sewng machine, is learning a lot and feels so inspired by Kim. She simply loves going there and can’t get enough! Kim makes them laugh a lot too which is a bonus!
